Sichuan Province - "heavenly country" is located in the South West of China and is known for its bold flavours in its traditional cooking methods which can be traced back as far as 2000 years.

Sichuan Bang Bang adheres to the principles of Sichuan cooking, however spice and chilli affect different people in different ways. If you love the flavours and heat like the Sichuanese do, please request your orders to be "crazy hot" or “Mala!”.

Ma-La, is a spicy and numbing seasoning made from Sichuan Peppercorn and chilli pepper. Mala is used in many Sichuan dishes.

Sichuan Bang Bang also regularly features signature dishes from other regions of China such as Peking Duck, Shanghai style sweet and sour pork ribs,  Xinjiang style Uighur Da Pan Ji (big plate chicken), and of course, various house made dumplings. We open Wednesday to Monday from 5pm (closed Tuesdays and public holidays). We are fully licensed.
